In the first stage, the core area will be crowned by four blocks. The names of these residential high-rise buildings with local maritime themed are Koski (rapids), Virta (stream), Lahti (gulf) and Selkä (sea). Crown-rise buildings consist of modern studios up to 3 bed room apartments with surface areas ranging between 31 and 88 m2. These four blocks are designed by famous Finnish architect Mr. Sampo Valjus perhaps best known for designing the Torni Hotelli in Tampere (the tallest hotel building in Finland). Interior design by Visionary Design Partners Helsinki.
In the Lipporanta project the focus has been especially on the common areas dedicated for residents. The center point of these premises is the “Lobby” – the common living room for the inhabitants. The common areas are approximately 500 m2 in total. There are also special IT workstations, a gym and a sauna. The joint meeting and banquet room including a kitchen, can be reserved and used for inhabitants’ own private events.
The cheerfully decorated rooms for children and young people offer fun and entertaining spaces to play. There is also a spare guest room next to the common area, which the inhabitants can reserve for their friends and relatives to stay over night.
