A Little Vietnamese Getaway in Espoo

VDP Helsinki proudly presents the interior design for Pho Station, located in the bustling Sello Shopping Centre in Leppävaara, Espoo. Our vision was to transport diners from the everyday rush into a serene and authentic Vietnamese escape, offering a unique and pleasant dining experience.

Cozy, Rustic Atmosphere

We crafted a space that exudes a cozy and rustic charm, inviting guests to relax and savor their meal. The design thoughtfully blends natural materials and textures to create a warm and intimate ambiance. Overhead, an array of woven rattan pendant lights cast a soft, inviting glow, enhancing the rustic feel and drawing the eye upwards. Lush, vibrant greenery is strategically placed throughout the space, bringing an element of nature indoors and contributing to the refreshing, “getaway” feel.

The patterned wall coverings, reminiscent of tropical foliage, complement the natural wood finishes and intricate detailing of the bar counter. This combination not only adds visual interest but also reinforces the authentic Vietnamese aesthetic.Seating areas are designed for comfort and intimacy, encouraging guests to unwind and enjoy their dining experience.

Every element, from the lighting to the plant selection, was meticulously chosen to evoke the warmth and welcoming spirit of Vietnam, creating a truly special dining destination within the urban landscape of Espoo.
