Intro
O’Malley’s Vaasa Irish Pub
O’Malley’s Vaasa brings the best parts of a classic Irish pub into a modern setting—warm, social, and unmistakably full of character. Our goal was to create an interior that feels instantly familiar to pub lovers while still being fresh, functional, and built for high-traffic hospitality.
The design balances heritage-inspired details with durable, contemporary solutions. Rich wood tones, layered lighting, and tactile materials create a welcoming atmosphere from day to night. Seating zones were planned to support different experiences—lively group gatherings, casual after-work pints, and quieter corners for conversation—while keeping the flow intuitive for both guests and staff.
A carefully composed palette of deep greens, warm ambers, and dark accents sets a cozy mood and frames the bar as the heart of the venue. Textures and finishes were selected to age beautifully, handling the realities of daily use without losing their charm. Decorative elements and focal points were integrated to enhance the Irish pub identity without tipping into theme—authentic in feeling, considered in execution.
This project is a celebration of atmosphere: a place that invites you in, encourages you to stay, and feels like a local favorite from the very first visit.
Scope: Interior concept & spatial planning, material and finish selection, lighting concept, furniture and fixture specification, and styling direction.
