Last winter (2014) we redesigned the interior of the renown restaurant Piste and we also designed the fifth steakhouse in Finland co-owned by world famous American Top Chef finalist Mr Stefan Richter, both of these restaurants are located in Ruka. The redesigned Piste was opened in early November 2014, just in time for the new ski season and the Stefan´s Steakhouse was opened only a couple of weeks later.
Piste is the meeting place at Ruka from early morning to late night! Piste is located right in the middle of Western Ruka, on RukaPlaza, Piste is the center of action as soon as the lifts are open. This simply means: ski in – ski out!
Ruka Ski Resort received for the second time in a row the Best Ski Resort in Finland award on 22 November 2014 at the World Ski Awards Gala organized by the World Travel Awards.
In the fall 2015 it was time to return to Ruka and to design the new restaurant called Les Alpes.
The cozy and warm interior of the Piste, perfect to unwind and enjoy after-ski.
All of these 3 restaurant that we have designed in Ruka are owned by our long-time client Restamax Plc. Les Alpes restaurant will be officially opened 6.11.2015. Please take a closer look of the new Les Alpes restaurant here:
