After post Covid19 the restaurants can gradually reopen their doors into summer 2020, so is soon doing the revamped Mummotunneli in Helsinki.
Revamped Mummotunneli
Mummotunneli or perhaps better known as “granny tunnel”, well it´s not really a tunnel, it´s actually a terrace restaurant in an alley in the center of Helsinki. It runs from Pohjoisesplanadi to Aleksanterinkatu street, the “granny tunnel” invites you to come and have fun all day until the wee hours. Around the terrace, you will find a variety of restaurants serving food from lunch through to dinner.

Not just one but multiple restaurants
you can pop in anytime for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city. In the evenings, the granny tunnel is filled to the brim – party bands and DJs get the place jumping – it’s enough to bring the roof… I mean, the sky down! Words are not enough – you have to experience the legendary atmosphere of the granny tunnel yourself!
Also Amarillo restaurant completed back in summer 2019 by VDPHelsinki is also an essential part of the Mummotunneli terrace complex.
