At VDP Helsinki, we had the pleasure of designing the interior for Lie Mi, a dynamic Vietnamese restaurant located in the heart of Kamppi Shopping Centre, Helsinki. Known for its bold flavors and street-food-inspired cuisine, Lie Mi deserved a space that reflects its energetic, modern, and authentic brand identity.

Our design concept merges contemporary urban aesthetics with Southeast Asian influences, creating a setting that is both inviting and edgy. The space comes alive with a vibrant color palette, blending deep blues, warm greens, and bold reds—tones inspired by the bustling streets of Vietnam.

Seating arrangements are thoughtfully designed to enhance the dining experience, offering a mix of intimate booths and communal tables, fostering both relaxed and social gatherings. Statement lighting, featuring custom pendant fixtures and soft ambient illumination, sets the mood, striking a balance between vibrancy and comfort.

Every design detail was carefully curated to immerse guests in a sensory journey, from the moment they step inside to their last sip of Vietnamese iced coffee. The result is a welcoming, modern, and memorable dining environment that perfectly complements Lie Mi’s bold and flavorful culinary offering.
